AGS entails multiple project development phases that all rely on participation data and feedback.
These projects are:
- AGS Access: an engagement framework governing how members interact with golf environments at every defined point of contact. It acts on behalf of the member.
- Venue Certification: an environmental standard will be developed against which golf environments are assessed and ranked. This will be about adjustments and flexibility.
- My Group: the member-facing community and group participation layer. This is intended to help members engage with one another safely.
- Offers and Partnerships: coordinated access arrangements secured on behalf of members through collective engagement. This aims to reduce costs.
- Equipment: provision aligned to individual participation conditions. This is aiming at organising accessible equipment custom fitting and other initiatives.
Phase 01: Membership and Platform
Step #1: Support and Membership Base
The initial aim is to generate project support. Without support and members, nothing can be translated into improved person centred golf participation outcomes.
Step #2: Regional AGS Member Representation
Once membership in a local area reaches 10-50 members, AGS engages with the group and pursues engagement with local stakeholders on behalf of the group.
Step #3: Pilot Development
Once a venue has been engaged the model moves from design into practice, using the principle membership feedback.
Phase 02: Access Model Pilot
Step #1: Access Model
Validate/Refine the access and venue adjustment programme with real world participation feedback.
Step #2: Beta Deployment
Repeat step #1 consistently, and commence with facility staff training guidelines.
Step #3: Review
Review data and feedback. Use the results to refine the trial scope.
Step #4: Trial Launch
Run a final trial before launch.
Step #5: Pilot
Run the pilot and evaluate annually.
